We hear a lot of negativity about using affiliate marketing to create a revenue stream on a blog, but the truth is many are making an income stream through their blog by finding an affiliate that matches their brand. 1. Visitors love resources and having a resource page means your visitor is far more likely to spend some time there, and click on the link to your affiliate. Everybody wins here. Your visitor gets valuable information and you get the click through.

4. Your affiliate marketing should create a passive income - when it comes to affiliate marketing in your blog, your affiliate income should be secondary. The focus of your blog will be to write quality content that your visitors want to read, and it should keep them coming back for more. Your affiliate links should be embedded in that content and be passively available to your visitors to click.
